My Story

Hello, I’m Kate, a fully licensed and insured Person Centred Psychotherapist with an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy and BACP membership. As a therapist, I work conscientiously within the BACP Ethical Framework at all times to uphold the highest moral standards for every client.

My relationship with therapy and healing began following personal traumatic life circumstances relating to a significant loss and all the immensely painful challenges that come with that experience. My experience left me with a clear choice, continue to live in pain or begin to heal.

Most importantly for me, was finding a therapist who could cope with my story and hold space for me without judgement. My personal and professional experience have given me the emotional strength and resilience to work with a complex range of needs, and a robust understanding of how difficult it can be to show up for yourself, have your own back and do the best you can every day.

After experiencing the transformative results of therapy in my own life, I embarked on a career that would allow me to use my knowledge, skills and experience to support others. As a Psychotherapist, I will help you face your experiences and overcome your trauma with compassion to live a fulfilled life.

My promise to my clients’ is that there is no story too painful, too shocking or too overwhelming for me to hold space for and to offer you support through.
